This section helps resolve common issues that users may encounter while creating, scheduling, and managing surveys in indepHR.
Unable to Publish Survey
Possible Causes

Required fields are incomplete

Authors or Reviewers are not assigned

Schedule is not configured

Recipients are not selected
Solution

Ensure all survey questions are properly added

Assign at least one Author and Reviewer
-
Set the schedule date and time
-
Add recipients (groups) to the survey
Use the Preview option to verify completeness before publishing.
Less Than 10 Recipients
Issue
Survey cannot be published due to insufficient recipients.
Cause
- Total number of selected recipients is less than 10
Solution

Add more recipients by:

Selecting additional groups, or
-
Updating existing groups with more members

The total count across all selected groups must be at least 10.
Survey Email Not Received
Possible Causes

Email may be marked as spam
-
Incorrect email address

Delay in email delivery
Solution

Ask recipients to check their Spam/Junk folder

Verify that email addresses are correct in the system

Wait a few minutes and check again
If the issue persists, try rechecking recipient group configuration.
Role / Permission Issues
Issue
User is unable to edit or review a survey.
Cause
- User does not have the required role assigned
Solution

Ensure correct role assignment:

Author → Can create and edit surveys

Reviewer → Can review and provide feedback

Update roles from the Survey Details section if required
Unable to Access Survey (Recipients)
Possible Causes

Survey link expired (deadline passed)

Incorrect or broken link

Survey not yet scheduled/published
Solution

Ensure the survey is accessed before the deadline

Use the correct link from the email

Confirm that the survey is published and scheduled
